Azar began her life in the U.S. after graduating high school in Damascus. She came to Portland, Oregon and graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor’s degree in History and Art. On graduation she began her career in commercial real estate and continued that when she came to Houston in 1993. As a Houstonian she has lived in Tanglewood, Memorial, The Galleria, and Montrose and is very familiar with real estate in those areas as well as River Oaks, West University, and other Houston communities.

Starting her career in commercial real estate gave her a great understanding of real estate from a business perspective and an appreciation for being an agent that understands the needs of the client and makes those needs her priority. Her belief is that if the real estate transaction does not work for her client, it does not work for her. To further assist her clients, Azar established the Inner Loop Homes Report which provides information on some of Houston's best neighborhoods.

Azar fits in very well within our international community as she has spoken Arabic and English since childhood, reads and writes Arabic fluently, and is also able to converse in French. She has travelled all over the world and has lived in London as well as Damascus, Oregon, and Houston. She is a founding member of the Bilateral US/Arab Chamber of Commerce which promotes business between the US and the Middle East. She supports the Museum of Fine Arts and the SPCA, is a lover of animals, and has sponsored exchange students in her home. One of those students now attends college in Houston and another in Lebanon. She is married, has a daughter who is a Summa Cum Laude Graduate with a master’s degree in Business and Finance from St. Thomas University and also has a sixth grade step son who has attended the Awty International School and School of the Woods. 

Additionally, Azar has studied at the Glassel School of Art in Houston and having painted for many years has shown and sold her contemporary abstract art through several Houston galleries. Her love of art and design has played a large role in her love of homes and has fueled her desire to assist clients in finding exactly what they want.
