A licensed Realtor® since 1978, who has also earned her brokers designation, Carole Alm was born in Chicago, and moved to Houston in 1966. She pursued a career in real estate after earning a degree in English and spending 12 years as an elementary school teacher. “Teaching requires good organizational skills and good people skills,” she says—both of which are a perfect fit for real estate transactions.

A resident of Briargrove Park, and a member of the Briargrove Park Women’s Club, Carole is also familiar with the Memorial, Westheimer, West University, Bellaire, and Inner Loop areas. She values not only efficiency and results, but having fun on the job. “I’m friendly and outgoing, and I build a good rapport with my clients,” she says. “I believe in good communication, so I can get a thorough understanding of my clients’ needs. Honesty and integrity are very important to me.”

Carole has one daughter, a step daughter and step-son, and two grandchildren, and she takes pride in being a loving, active grandmother. She enjoys hiking, reading and yoga, and is on the Advisory Board for Cancer Care. “Giving back to the community is a priority for me,” she says.
