Web Marketing / Information Technology Manager

Darren found his passion in the real estate industry shortly after relocating here from Philadelphia in 2001.  Prior to joining John Daugherty Realtors, Darren co-owned and managed a real estate firm where he played an active role in business development and strategic marketing. 

Prior to his real estate career, he spent 12 years in the information technology industry as a manager and in sales.  As an IT Manager for a regional eye laser center, headquartered just outside the Philadelphia area, he developed strategies and successfully analyzed business needs & provided cost effective solutions for the company.  Earlier in his IT career, he served as a Sales Manager for a technology solution based company in Tucson Arizona.  As the Sales Manager, he rejuvenated sales performance of stagnant territory and mentored new & existing territory reps on customer relationship management, solutions-selling strategies and advanced product knowledge.  He has also served 9 years in the United States Air Force and is currently serving in the Texas Air National Guard with the 147th Fighter Wing at Ellington Field. 

His strong and diversified background in technology and marketing has successfully prepared him for the pivotal role he now plays as a Web Marketing / Information Technology Manager with John Daugherty Realtors.  Darren develops web marketing strategies and manages the corporate social media networks; blogs, Facebook and LinkedIn.  He manages all aspects of web marketing such as display advertising, organic search engine optimization, search engine marketing, blog implementation and link-building.  In addition, he develops courses and trains agents on social media network and blogging.  Darren also manages and provides the direction for the IT department.
