A Houston resident for more than 50 years, Dianne McDonough has been a licensed Realtor® since 1985. An alumnae of the University of Houston, she worked in an administrative position for Continental Airlines for 15 years before pursuing a career in real estate. “I have a love of architecture, so it was a great fit,” she says. “The best career advice I ever received was, ‘enjoy what you do, and you will strive to do it well.’”
Dianne was a homeowner in Bellaire for 33 years and is now a resident of the Lamar Tower High Rise in River Oaks. She has extensive knowledge of those areas as well as West University and Memorial. Dianne and her husband maintain a second home in Galveston, her birthplace, where she remains active in Island affairs and is a member of the Galveston Association of Realtors and the Galveston Artillery Club.
Dianne is known for her ability to work with people in changing situations and her flexibility has served her well in her career. “I have a talent for helping people make difficult choices,” she says. Her years with Continental taught her the value of listening to her clients and using her knowledge and training to respond to their needs.
Dianne has worked with many Houston and Galveston charities and organizations over the years, including the American Heart Association, M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, Cystic Fibrosis, Amigos de las Americas, the Houston Symphony, Grand Opera and Ballet. When she has spare time she enjoys Mah Jongg (a classic Chinese tile game), art and fashion design.
