Laura Mayer Cyprow, a fourth generation Houstonian, specializes in Houston’s finest neighborhoods. A passionate personality and genuine interest in her clients combined with her knowledge of the real estate market are qualities that consistently set Laura above the rest.
After graduating from St. John’s School, Laura received a Bachelors in Social Work at the University of Texas in Austin. Upon college graduation, she moved to New York City to work in investment banking at Salomon Brothers, now Citigroup. She returned home to Houston two years later to work for a private equity group, Capstreet Group. Her love of people and dynamic transactions attracted her to residential real estate. Laura’s experiences have enabled her to be a successful realtor. Her clients benefit from her market knowledge, attentive listening, exceptional service and superb negotiating skills.
In her spare time, Laura enjoys riding horses, playing Mah Jongg, being on the Board and volunteering at her synagogue and spending time with her husband, children, dog, family and friends.
Laura was recognized as a 2004 Top Producer Realtor by the Houston Association of Realtors® and the MLS Advisory Group. In 2008 and 2009, Laura ranked in the top 15 of John Daugherty Realtor’s agents, earning her the prestigious “Top Producer” standing. In 2010, Laura was recognized as being the “Best of the Best” by achieving sales results that catapulted her to a #4 ranking among the top producers. Laura is the youngest Realtor in John Daugherty Realtors’ history to be listed among the top 5 annual producers. In 2011, Laura was named by Texas Monthly magazine as a 2011 FIVE STAR Real Estate Agent and received the NRG 20 under 40 Rising Stars Award.
