Mathilde, a Native New Orleanian, was born into the real estate business.  Not only was her mother a lifelong Realtor, but she pioneered the renovation of historic New Orleans properties.  Mathilde, herself, a Realtor in New Orleans, renovated 6 homes, rental properties, built a mountaintop home in Vail, Colorado, and was involved in the development of a hotel.  Two of her homes are in coffee table books. 

Mathilde attended Newcomb College of Tulane University, the University of Madrid and the Institut de Francais in Villefranche, France.  She has three children and two granddaughters.  She was active in the Junior League for 17 years, involved in committees in her children's' schools, on several civic boards, and president of the Historic Homes Board.  In New Orleans, she was a sales associate with Latter and Blum.

Here, in Houston, she is involved in the Symphony League,   Junior League Sustainers,  St. Martin's Episcopal Church,  Bible Study,  the World Affairs Council, the British American Business Council, the French American Chamber of Commerce, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, as well as other business and charitable organizations.

Mathilde says "People are my nourishment."  Her friends say "She is fiercely loyal."  Her positive energy drives her "to get things done" and always with a smile!  Mathilde embraces the values and "can do" spirit of Houstonians, and is proud to live here.
