Monica Pope, chef and owner of Sparrow Bar + Cookshop, joined John Daugherty, Realtors for “Sunday Suppers With The Pope” where guests dine on Pope’s cuisine at one of the luxury homes for sale.
The guests pay $75 dollars and receive the exact location of the event via email a day or two before the dinner since the Houston real estate market is so hot right now houses are going fast. Also guests have the option of spending an extra $25 for a champagne tour of the home which goes directly to Dress for Success, a non-profit that helps low-income women enter the workforce and provides professional attire.
The monthly suppers will continue through November but will take December and January off before starting up again in February. For more information about these exciting events please visit: www.sparrowhouston.com
This English Tudor Revival home was build in 1929 and owned by the former Texas governor, William Hobby. The estate sits on a 30,861 square foot lot in the subdivision of Old Braeswood. This stately manor includes a reception hall, formal dining solarium, a parlor room, a wood-paneled library and a chef’s kitchen.
