John Daugherty Realtor, Jo Reid, was featured in the Houston Chronicle as their Realtor of the Week.
“The honors and awards are cherished and valued. Yet, my greatest awards are when my clients are thrilled with their newly purchased or sold home, their satisfaction and compliments, their referring me to their friends and neighbors, their appreciation and respect for a job well done. That is what means the most to me,” Reid said.
Reid’s main focus is in the sought-after neighborhoods, where homes are selling by the time the “for sale” signs are placed in the yard, such as Memorial, Galleria, River Oaks and other communities inside Loop 610. Yet, she works with clients in all areas of Houston.
“I have lived in the Galleria (area) for more than 10 years, and am a native Texan. I’ve been in Houston since the 1960s, when my family moved here. I love Houston. Houston is a wonderfully large, yet small town, and the people are so very nice. The people are wonderful,” Reid said.
Reid graduated from the University of Texas, with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and has continued her education. She has and continues to take many real estate courses, because she knows her clients expect her to be well informed and knowledgeable.
“I worked in human resources for many years. When I was introduced to real estate, it was a perfect fit, and I’m so glad moved into this industry. I love this industry, I love the people I meet and the people I have the honor to work with,” Reid said.
