Kim has lived in Houston since 1977, after spending time in Amsterdam and the Netherlands. She attended the University of Tennessee, where she majored in education, and continued graduate studies at the University of St. Thomas, where she studied English as a Second Language (ESL). Kim taught ESL, worked as a flight attendant and had a career in sales before becoming a real estate agent—experiences that taught her excellent communication skills and to quickly adapt to any situation.
