With her background as a real estate attorney, Melodie Kentshire has exceptionally discerning insight into potential issues facing buyers and sellers.  After receiving a B.A. from the University of Texas, and then earning a law degree from South Texas College of Law, Melodie worked for six years as a real estate attorney before deciding to enter real estate sales.  "I can't think of a better background to complement my career in real estate sales than real estate law. They are the perfect combination," she says. "I am a great advocate and representative for my clients, fearless when it comes to negotiation, and mindful of protective measures when preparing contracts."

Other aspects of Melodie's success include her excellent listening skills and her meticulous attention to detail. "I pride myself in listening intently to clients in order to really hone in on what they want," she says. "Selling or buying a home can be a difficult and taxing experience. I work hard to make that experience as easy and enjoyable as possible."

Melodie specializes in some of Houston's finest neighborhoods, including the Memorial Park Area, Rice Military, The Galleria area, River Oaks, Rice, Southampton, West University, Bellaire, Memorial Villages and Tanglewood. Her clients praise her responsiveness, calm nature, strength under pressure, precision and tenacity.

Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Melodie has lived in Houston her entire life, attended Duchesne Academy and considers herself a native Houstonian.  Her hobbies/activities include volunteering in the Houston community and the Arts, traveling, cooking, gardening and jogging.
